The Association is established for the healthy development of the distinctive industry of Antrodia Cinnamomea in Taiwan by coordinating enterprises, scholars, experts, and related participants engaging in the development of Antrodia Cinnamomea, and through their concerted effort in academic exploration, internationalize the sustained development of the industry. The Association seeks to gather information on the biotechnology of Antrodia Cinnamomea at home and abroad as reference for the government, academic circle and the industrial sector.

The Association also advocates the planting of Antrodia Cinnamomea trees for environmental conservation, discouraging illegal extraction of forestry resources, and assists its members to present the national treasure of Taiwan, Antrodia Cinnamomea, to the world market.
